Disney’s Hollywood Studios is set to debut The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure on May 27, 2025. This reimagined stage show replaces the former Voyage of The Little Mermaid attraction, which closed in 2020. The ultimate Mermaid Fairytail shows Ariel follow her dreams to be part of the human world. This new production promises to captivate audiences with beloved songs like “Part of Your World,” “Under the Sea,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” and “Kiss the Girl,” enhanced by stunning set pieces and cutting-edge effects . This fin-tastic tale promises to capture Ariel’s imagination and emotions!

In preparation for its opening, Disney has announced that the show will operate continuously from 9:15 AM to 7:15 PM daily, allowing guests multiple opportunities to experience the performance throughout the day.

Additionally, The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure has been added to the Lightning Lane Multi Pass system. Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels can book their selections up to seven days in advance, while other guests can book three days ahead . This inclusion allows for more flexible planning and reduced wait times for this highly anticipated show.

Adding to the excitement, Jodi Benson, the original voice of Ariel from the 1989 animated film, made a surprise visit to the cast and crew during their preparations. She expressed her gratitude and emotion upon witnessing the new production, stating, “I’m overwhelmed. That was incredible… This is very special and very emotional to be here with all of you.”
