Hey there, Disney dreamers! Today, we’re setting sail….. to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! That’s right, we have stayed at CB several times now and we’ve got the full scoop on this moderate resort at Walt Disney World.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Let’s start with the vibes — Caribbean Beach Resort instantly transports you to a sun-soaked island escape. We’re talking palm trees, pastel buildings, hammocks, and reggae music floating in the breeze. It’s like being in the Caribbean, but without the passport.
And the resort is huge. Like, five different “islands” — Aruba, Jamaica, Martinique, Trinidad, and Barbados. Each section has its own unique look and charm. We have stayed in Aruba, Jamaica, and Martinique, which is near the Riviera Resort
THE ROOMS
Now let’s talk rooms. Ours were newly refurbished and super clean — two queen beds, updated flooring, cute island-inspired decor. Plus, plenty of USB outlets. We loved the proximity to the Skyliner, complete with Joeffrey’s right there before you board your gondola.
But fair warning — some rooms are pretty far from the lobby or main pool. So if walking is a concern, consider requesting something close to Old Port Royale or spring for a preferred room.
FOOD & DINING
Okay, foodies, listen up. Caribbean Beach has one of our favorite quick service spots on Disney property — Sebastian’s Bistro. There is also Centertown Market. Both are chef’s kiss! The vibe there is so chill, especially in the evening with the torches lit.
POOLS & AMENITIES
Speaking of chill — let’s talk pools. The Fuentes del Morro pool is themed like a Spanish fort with cannons spraying water. It’s easily one of the coolest themed pools at a moderate resort. Or, enjoy a serene swim at one of several unique leisure pools across CB propety. There are hot tubs, a zero-entry area, and a great kids’ splash zone. And if you’re feeling more relaxed, the leisure pools in each village are quieter options.
TRANSPORTATION & SKYLINER
One of the biggest perks? As we mentioned, the Disney Skyliner! Caribbean Beach is a main hub, meaning you’ve got direct access to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios in those breezy gondolas. That is a game-changer. No waiting on buses for every park. Just hop on and go. We timed it — only about 5 minutes to Hollywood Studios! And, about 10-12 to Epcot. PLUS, you can catch a pretty good view of the Epcot fireworks from a lot of spots around the resort.
FINAL THOUGHTS
So who is Caribbean Beach Resort right for? I’d say families who want a tropical vibe, solid amenities, and Skyliner access — but don’t mind a bit of walking. It’s a great middle ground: more immersive than value resorts, more budget-friendly than deluxe ones, and with a ton of charm. Plus, we loved it for a couples trip.
That wraps up today’s tropical tour of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! If you’ve stayed there before, let us know your favorite part. And if you’re planning a trip — we hope this helped! If you need more assistance, we would love to help you plan your trip!
