Disney World Restaurant Review: ‘Ohana

Walt Disney World Restaurant Review: Ohana at the Polynesian Resort

Aloha, Disney Friends! Welcome back, today we are diving into a long time fan favorite: Ohana, located inside the stunning Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. If you’ve ever wondered whether this all-you-care-to-enjoy feast lives up to the hype, stay tuned. I’ve got the full scoop, from sizzling skewers to that famous bread pudding.

Walking into ‘Ohana feels like entering a warm Hawaiian home, if that home had panoramic views of Cinderella Castle across the Seven Seas Lagoon. The vibe is cozy, welcoming, and smells absolutely incredible. Think open flames, grilled meats, and tropical sweetness in the air. And if you time your reservation just right? You can catch Magic Kingdom fireworks from your table! Yes, ‘Disney ‘Ohana plays the music inside the restaurant. Literal magic views and vibes with dessert.

There’s no menu to choose from here — it’s family-style, and trust me, your table will fill fast. Here’s the lineup:

Starters:

  • Pineapple-coconut bread
  • Mixed greens salad with citrus dressing (I LOVE this stuff!)
  • Honey-coriander chicken wings
  • Pork dumplings in garlic-ginger sauce

Main Course:
Then come the grilled meats: chicken, steak, and shrimp. Each one has its own flavor profile, but they all pair beautifully with…

The legendary ‘Ohana noodles. Sweet, garlicky, buttery — people dream about these noodles. Some say they’d skip the steak just to double up on these.

Sides:

  • Roasted broccolini
  • Stir-fried vegetables

Dessert:
Bread pudding. Banana bread pudding, caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream melting over the top… it’s warm, rich, and 100% worth saving room for.

For adults, the cocktail list is tropical and fun. Try the Lapu Lapu served in a whole pineapple. It is strong, sweet, and iconic. There’s also a great non-alcoholic mocktail list if you’re keeping it kid-friendly or just hydrating for your next rope drop.

Cast Members here go above and beyond. It’s not just a meal, it’s a celebration with ukulele music, tropical touches, and that signature Disney warmth.

During the Best Friends Breakfast, characters like Lilo and Stitch often stop by. At dinner, it’s quieter and more atmospheric, which is perfect for couples or a chill family night.

If you’re staying at the Polynesian or even just monorailing over from Magic Kingdom, Ohana is a must-try experience at least once. It’s hearty, flavorful, and full of aloha spirit. Come hungry, come curious, and don’t forget to ask for a second, or third, helping of noodles.
